We live at an always accelerating world, in places always more crowded – 5 years ago, the urban population passed for the first time in human history the rural population, and the trend continues with today 3.4 of the 7.25 billion people on Earth living in cities. We travel always farther, faster, more often.
That brings transportation to the front line of modern concerns. Not only for us individually, but also for us collectively. Transportation industries collide with other industry domains (for instance IT, telecom or media industry provide services while in mobility, not only to passengers but also to the vehicle and its ancillary units). New policies and regulations are put in place to channel priorities.
This means opportunities to innovate, to bring new business models on the table, to optimize differently the workflows, to grasp new markets. In short: to do business.
This is what we want to unleash at the member event in Paris.
If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas
